Description
- Children's delicate skin is easily damaged by UVR from the sun. One of the best means of protecting your kids from the discomfort of sun-burn and longer term UV damage is UPF rated clothing.
- UV Protection: The Ultra-violet Protection Factor (UPF) is a scale developed by the Australian Radiation Laboratory in conjuntion with a number of Cancer Councils to rate UVR protection fabrics. UPF is directly comparable to SPF in sunscreens in that UPF 50 can provide the skin with 50 times the protection against UVR compared to unprotected skin. This Zoggs product has a Maximum protection rating of UPF 50+ meaning that more than 98% of harmful UVR is blocked out.
- Why we like them.
- * These funky little one-piece suits protect your child in the water, on the beach or in the garden. They're comfy, easy to get on an off and mean that you're only having to re-apply sunscreen to limited areas of wriggly, over-excited little bodies!
- * For babies who are just learning to walk, these are much better than two-piece suits because they don't ride up, or ruck-up and there's no chance of midriff gaps where skin can be exposed to the sun.
