• Features
• The frame is a radical departure from our traditional workbike configuration and features a low step-through style for ease of mounting and dismounting. Two frame sizes and a long, quick release seat pillar, give the equivalent adjustment range of conventional 18? to 24? frame sizes (27? to 40? inside leg).
• Mounting points for front and rear carriers are fitted as standard, making the pronto easily adaptable from a simple run-around or tow-bike, to a fully equipped heavy-duty load carrier. The design is well balanced, even when fully loaded, thanks to the enhanced ergonomics. Progressive, all-weather stopping power is provided by SRAM hub brakes, operated by heavy-duty, automotive standard cables.
• Multi-surface tyres incorporate high visibility reflective side stripes, and the transmission is protected by a shatterproof polycarbonate chainguard. Independent tests confirm that pronto meets or exceeds all relevant sections of BS 6102/1.
• Pronto has been configured to reduce and simplify routine maintenance, using a proven component package. Mudguards are pre-coat aluminium for corrosion resistance, and feature triple point fitting. The heavy-duty headset incorporates a locking top head locknut to secure bearing adjustment. Hub brake cables have custom fittings to simplify adjustment, and wheels are built with 13 gauge spokes and 25mm section aluminium rims for durability.
• Front and rear wheel removal has been simplified, and the integral chain tensioner reduces chain wear and eliminates rear wheel adjustment due to chain stretch.
